Space Operations, Inc (SOI) is an Alabama corporation developed to provide reliable and technologically sophisticated spacecraft hardware focused on carrying flight crews and vital cargo into space. The company will develop, operate and maintain reusable spacecraft capsules and service modules for use by the U.S. Government, major prime contractors, satellite manufacturers and operators, and other organizations and individuals with space flight requirements. Additionally, SOI will provide space tourists an opportunity to experience earth orbit and space walks from a vehicle manufactured and launched in the United States.
SOI will use proven flight rated technologies outfitted with the latest avionics and flight systems available, integrated into SOI’s newly manufactured flight vehicles. Each vehicle will be fully tested and certified for flight safety by the FAA.
